By accessing and using AddisMenu (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. AddisMenu is a digital menu and ordering platform designed for restaurants in Ethiopia, allowing customers to browse menus, place orders, and make payments through our platform.
AddisMenu provides a digital menu and ordering platform that connects restaurants with their customers. Our service allows restaurant owners to create and manage digital menus, receive and process orders, and manage payments. Customers can browse restaurant menus, place orders for dine-in or takeaway, and make payments through integrated payment methods including Chapa and bank transfers. The service is available through web browsers and QR code scanning at participating restaurants.
Restaurant administrators must register for an account to manage their restaurant on AddisMenu. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify AddisMenu of any unauthorized use of your account. Super administrators have elevated access to manage multiple restaurants and platform settings, and must maintain strict confidentiality of their credentials.
Restaurant owners are responsible for the accuracy of menu information, including prices, descriptions, and availability. Restaurants must fulfill all orders placed through the platform in a timely manner. Restaurants are responsible for food quality and safety in accordance with Ethiopian health regulations. Restaurants must maintain valid business licenses and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. AddisMenu reserves the right to suspend or remove any restaurant that violates these obligations.
AddisMenu charges a subscription fee for restaurant use of the platform. Pricing details are available on our website and may be updated periodically. Payment processing fees may apply for transactions processed through our integrated payment providers. Restaurants are responsible for any applicable taxes on transactions processed through the platform. Refund policies are determined by individual restaurants and must be clearly communicated to customers.
All content, features, and functionality of AddisMenu, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the exclusive property of AddisMenu and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Restaurants retain ownership of their menu content, images, and branding uploaded to the platform. By uploading content, restaurants grant AddisMenu a non-exclusive license to display and distribute such content through the Service.
AddisMenu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. We are not responsible for the quality of food or service provided by restaurants listed on our platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to AddisMenu in the twelve months preceding the claim.
